The Full Story (About Me)
05/21/2025

I am a proud boy mom to two incredible little humans- Kayden (3) and Luke (4) They keep my heart full and my days very busy! Life with two young boys is wild, joyful, and beautifully chaotic.

We love spending our time together exploring parks, playing games, reading stories, cooking up fun in the kitchen, and just enjoying the everyday adventures that come with motherhood. Being their mom is one of my greatest motivators for staying strong- mentally, physically, and emotionally. They inspire me everyday to keep growing and becoming the best version of myself!

I’m incredibly blessed to share life with my husband—my best friend, my soulmate, and my greatest support system. We’ve been together since we were just 17 years old, high school sweethearts who grew up and grew stronger together.

Now, after nearly a decade of love and almost three beautiful years of marriage, I can truly say I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without him by my side. His unwavering love, encouragement, and belief in me have carried me through some of the hardest and most transformative seasons of my life. He’s not just my partner—he’s my rock and my home.

Meet Sadie, our sweet black Lab and the very first dog I ever had. She’s 8 years old and has been such a blessing to our family. We adopted her from the pound after she was found wandering the streets of Xenia, Ohio. While we don’t know her full background, we do know this—she captured our hearts the moment we met her.

The first thing she did was roll over and ask for belly rubs, and in that instant, we knew she was meant to be ours. That moment of trust and connection was unforgettable. Since then, Sadie has filled our home with love, loyalty, and calm companionship. She’s gentle, affectionate, and a true part of our family.

This is AK, our energetic and lovable Pomeranian. We welcomed him into our family a year ago after adopting him from a home that could no longer meet his needs. From the moment he arrived, he brought a whole new level of excitement and joy into our lives. My husband gave him the name AK—short for “AK47”—because of his signature bark (or rather, his constant yapping!).

Despite his tiny size, he’s full of personality and spirit. AK adores our kids, showers everyone with kisses, and loves nothing more than to run freely around the house or yard. He’s truly a free spirit and a light in our home. We’re so grateful to have him as part of our family.

What Inspired Me To Start A Blog?!

The primary motivation for launching my blog was the awareness that I had been regularly posting about my personal journey on Facebook. I recognized that I had been sharing my experiences and insights extensively on the platform. My intention is to share my life experiences, personal growth, and transformations with others, in hopes of inspiring and motivating them through my experiences. As a result I decided that initiating a blog would be the best step to take!

Challenges That I Have Faced

Throughout my life, I have encountered numerous challenges that have significantly impacted my personal growth. Recently, I have faced several experiences that have profoundly shaped me into the person I am today. Firstly, I have been diagnosed with PMDD, or premenstrual dysphoric disorder, which I will elaborate on later. Additionally, I have been living with C-PTSD stemming from my childhood. On a more positive note, I have embarked on a journey towards a healthier lifestyle. Ultimately, my experiences have led me to become a strong advocate for mental and physical well-being, and I have finally made the necessary changes to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

How would I describe myself in three words?

Resilient, intentional, and empowering.

I am looking to empower women through body, mind, and even cycle! I started this blog to create a space where real conversations about hormone health, PMDD, selfcare and personal growth can actually live and breathe. For a long time, I felt stuck in cycles- physical, emotional, and mental- that I didn't fully understand. Through trial, tracking, and truth telling, I began connecting the dots between my symptoms, my habits, and my healing. That's when everything started to shift. I'm not here as an expert- I am here as someone WHO GETS IT. Who’s learning, listening to her body, and showing up daily with purpose (and sometimes with snacks and messy hair).

(For-warning I have a little humor) Whether you are navigating your own hormone journey, looking for a real voice in wellness, or just need a reminder that you are not alone- you are exactly where you need to be! So with that being said- let's grow, rest, and rise together!

Where Am I At In My Life Right Now?

Right now I'd say that I am in a transformation phase. I am reclaiming my power, my rhythm, and my voice. I have come through cycles of frustration, fatigue, and even questions! Especially about my body, mood, and health. And now I am turning this experience into intention. I am not just surviving symptoms anymore; I am learning from them, honoring them, and using them as signals rather than setbacks. I am now showing up for myself in real and consistent ways such as moving my body, eating with care, exploring rest, and choosing to track and respond to my cycle rather than fight against it. And honestly that takes a lot of courage and clarity!

Here I am now- starting a blog- not just as a creative outlet, but as an act of connection. I am opening up my personal process to help others, which means I am stepping into a leadership role. Honestly it doesn't feel like it though but I am starting to realize that I am!

In short I am no longer lost- I am rebuilding. I am not behind- I am becoming, Lastly, I am not stuck- I am starting something powerful!

My purpose and Mission

Purpose: To create a safe, real, and supportive space where women can better understand their bodies, cycles, and emotional rhythm- especially when navigating PMDD, hormone health, and personal wellness.

My Mission: To share HONEST experiences, practical tools and empowering insights that help women:

● Track and work with their cycles, not against them,

● Build habits that support mental, physical, and emotional well-being.

● Feel seen, validated, and not alone in their struggles.

● Learn how to rest, move, and eat in ways that actually support their real-life energy and mood.

● Step into their own healing, with more knowledge, kindness, and confidence.

This blog isn’t about being perfect- it's about being present, aware, and empowered, one day (and one cycle) at a time!

What makes this so unique?

This blog is personal, not perfect- and that's exactly the point. I created this space because I got tired of one size fits all wellness advice that didn’t account for the realities of living with hormone shifts, emotional cycles, or PMDD. Here I am actually sharing what actually looks like to build a life that is aligned with your body- not in spite of it. What makes this blog unique is the way it blends real-life experience with intentional tools- from cycle tracking and symptom awareness to nutrition, mindset, and movement. I'm not here to preach; I am here to connect, reflect, and empower-one honest post at a time. This is a space for women who want to feel seen, supported, and informed as they navigate their own healing.

Whether you are here to find answers, feel less alone, or start tuning in to your own rhythms, I am so GLAD you are here!!!!

Lastly..A little about me

Three things I love doing

I really do love working out. I value exercising not for the looks but for how it supports the mind and body. I have a whole routine down for me that keeps me going. And usually by the end of the workouts- I feel really good about myself mentally and physically. And I hope to share my workouts with you in this blog!

Spending time with family. Spending time with my family not only makes our connection stronger but it’s a beautiful thing to do. Having that balance in my life is very important to me. And I VALUE every second with my little ones and my husband!

Connecting with Nature. This is especially really important to me. I am the type that cannot be in my house for so long (cabin fever) I HAVE to get out and get that fresh air and enjoy the sounds of nature. It brings me peace. It also resets my nervous system in a healthy way.

What does self care look like for me?

Honestly getting that shower in everyday and doing my makeup after has been my main selfcare routine. After cleansing myself with the water over me, I feel fresh once I step out of that tub. I feel renewed in a way where I can do my makeup routine. I LOVE DOING MY MAKEUP. I make time almost everyday to take care of myself. It really is my time to look and feel good. AND it is very important. Especially when being a mom of two crazy boys!!

One small but powerful ritual I have also created for myself is checking in with my body daily-and actually listening. Whether that means moving gently, eating with care, or giving myself permission to rest, I choose to respond to what I need, not just push through.

Thanks for being here. Whether you are just starting your journey or deep in it, I hope this space helps you feel more seen, supported, and empowered. Let’s grow together- cycle by cycle, day by day. I would love to hear your story too. Feel free to leave a comment, reach out, or explore the blog- this space isn’t just mine, it’s ours. So? Here’s to healing, learning, and honoring ourselves- one rhythm at a time.

With love and realness, Oksana
